Trad climbing is a lifelong pursuit. Every time that we head out to a traditional climbing crag we can learn something new. That’s what makes it so amazing and fun: we get to be creative.

In this class series we’ll work our way from placing gear to building anchors, to leading on gear and belaying from above. A lot of time goes into learning how to lead on trad, and each person’s journey will be different. We will work with you to find what works best for you and help you to achieve your goals.

To take our trad climbing class, you need to be capable of leading a sport route outdoors and should be familiar with cleaning anchors.
