Birdsboro Quarry

Birdsboro Quarry has been active since 1920. After closing a portion of the quarry, climbers took to the rock to bolt sport climbing routes dating back to 1993. Since then, the Birdsboro Area Climbers Association has been working tirelessly to make this quarry a well-known sport climbing area. Located in Birdsboro, PA, just one hour away from Philadelphia, this crag hosts more than 150 established routes and counting. These routes range in difficulty from 5.2 - 5.14 for technical rock routes and the area includes some moderate ice and dry tooling routes as well.

For Dream Peak Guides this area allows us to bring first time climbers outside to climb on accessible terrain and teach all things sport and lead climbing. This crag is the perfect place to bring any level of sport climber and even families with younger children.
